Dosage Guide
2-4.4 mg/kg PO once daily or divided twice daily. Start at low end of dose range and titrate to effect.

Side Effects
- •Vomiting
- •Diarrhea
- •Decreased appetite
- •GI ulceration (with chronic use)
- •Hepatopathy (rare but serious — Labrador Retrievers may be predisposed)
Important Warnings
- !DO NOT use in cats — fatal idiosyncratic reactions reported
- !Discontinue if vomiting, lethargy, or jaundice develops
- !Requires blood work before starting and every 6 months for long-term use
- !Use with extreme caution in dogs with pre-existing liver or kidney disease
Contraindications
Do not use this medication in the following situations:
- ✕Concurrent use with corticosteroids
- ✕Dehydrated or hypotensive patients
- ✕Active GI ulceration or bleeding
- ✕Cats (CONTRAINDICATED)
