Dosage Guide
Birds (egg binding): 50-100 mg/kg IM or slow IV. Reptiles (MBD): 50-100 mg/kg IM or SC. Administer slowly and monitor cardiac function.

Side Effects
- •Bradycardia (slow heart rate)
- •Tissue necrosis at injection site if perivascular
- •Hypercalcemia if overdosed
Important Warnings

- !Injectable calcium is painful — use the smallest needle practical
Contraindications
Do not use this medication in the following situations:
- ✕Hypercalcemia
- ✕Digitalis toxicity
- ✕Ventricular fibrillation
